Amazing. Not possible to go to Bulgaria without discovering the true taste of the bulgarian sour milk (yogurt for westerners). And this is THE place to do it. Warm welcome in a family home. Explanations, testing, eating... and the happiness of the host. I strongly recommend to go there.Posted on Google![]()

Here's a polished version of your review: Writing I took a cooking class to learn how to make Banitsa, and it was a wonderful experience. Nadya was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. She first took me on a tour of the local market, where she introduced me to the different types of cheese and helped us choose fresh, local ingredients. The class was enjoyable, well organized, and full of useful tips. I truly appreciated Nadya's warm personality, positive energy, and excellent company throughout the experience. I highly recommend taking a class with her if you're looking for an authentic and memorable Bulgarian cooking experience.Posted on Google![]()

A wonderful family-run experience at Taste Bulgarian Yogurt. I enjoyed a delicious soup paired with rakia, sampled five different types of yogurt, and learned the story behind each one through a fun and engaging explanation. The insightful conversations about life in Bulgaria made the visit even more memorable. A delightful mother-and-son team who made me feel right at home. Highly recommended!Posted on Google![]()

We greatly enjoyed meeting Nadya and learning how to bake banitsa! Such a delight. We visited, were taught tricks to make our baking better, learned about local ingredients and how to vary our party for travel versus serving a crowd. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

My friends and I had a wonderful time with Nadya. We made Banitsa, got to try some homemade Bulgarian delights and loved seeing Nadia’s passion for the food and her countries traditions. A brilliant way to spend learning about Bulgarian culture. I highly recommend and we’ll be back to try one of the many experiences that Nadya offers.Posted on Google![]()

We came across this yogurt tasting experience whilst looking for activities in Sofia; Nadya greeted us at the meeting point very warmly, and she prepared an amazing yogurt tasting which included 5 different yogurts along with a selection of delicious Bulgarian toppings! Nadya also prepared sourdough pancakes filled with a tasty chocolate filling. Her son Yoan delivered a great presentation with lots of detail and facts which we really enjoyed - especially the mini quiz! After the tasting we enjoyed coffee on their balcony with a stunning view of the Vitosha mountain whilst Yoan explained more about the surrounding areas in Sofia. He later kindly took us to the nearby Japanese gardens, after we left their apartment with a small gift and lots of memories😊 Thank you so much, we had a great time and would 100% recommend this experience to anyone who wants to experience authentic Bulgarian cuisine and a very kind and friendly atmosphere!Posted on Google![]()

Me and my friend went there for the yogurt activity. Had a blast learning about the history of Bulgaria and its culture. We went a bit over the time, but it was quite informative.Posted on Google![]()

We had such a wonderful time here! The whole experience felt really cozy, intimate, and more like visiting someone’s home than attending a typical workshop. Georgi and his mom Nadya created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They treated us like family from the very beginning. The yogurt tasting was delicious, and we got to try different types along with traditional pastries. What made it really special was how naturally everything was explained. Georgi and Nadya shared not only how yogurt is made, but also so much about Bulgarian culture and traditions. A big thank you as well for the thoughtful gift and the yogurt culture that Nadya packed for us to take home. My mom actually makes yogurt back in Slovakia, so she came here on what we called funny as “yogurt Erasmus” 😁, which made this experience even more meaningful for us. We truly enjoyed every moment and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic and heartfelt! ❤️😊Posted on Google![]()

Honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Bulgaria. Nadya and Georgi are wonderful hosts — warm, genuine, and passionate about what they do. The yoghurt alone is worth it: thick, tangy, and utterly unique — authentic Bulgarian yoghurt is in a league of its own, and once you’ve tried it made the traditional way, there’s no going back. Georgi is a fantastic conversationalist and Nadya’s homemade treats were absolutely delicious — real care, top quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. Don’t hesitate, just book it!
